100 Men Who Cook Annual Gala
Event Information
Description
On November 30, 2013, The 100 Men Who Cook Black Tie Gala will be held at The Renaissance Denver Hotel. Gentlemen from throughout the community don their chef hats for the evening and prepare mouth-watering specialties for sampling. The festive and elegant atmosphere includes live entertainment, dancing, and a silent auction. We request your support as a sponsor of this Gala that benefits three worthy organizations.
This year’s recipients are:
The Struggle of Love Foundation: (SOL) offers mentoring and sports programs; summer/winter camps; back to school assistance; and toys for the holidays. Founders, Joel and Lakeshia Hodge have operated SOL for the past 5 years with in-kind donations and their own finances.
The Colorado Starlites Drum and Drill Team: has been serving youth in the Denver Metropolitan area for the past 30 years. Along with the benefits gained from participation in a precision driven, teamwork activity, youth are also taught life skills.
The Jazz C.A.F.E. (Cultivating A Future of Excellence): is an innovative program that promotes and develops music and leadership skills through music education and academic preparation in youth grades 5-12. In addition, The Jazz C.A.F.E. equips students with 21st century technological skills that assist in advancing their music and leadership abilities.
