Fellow Holmes/Business Careers Class of 2004 Alumni,
It has been 10 years since we graced the halls of high school. Now it is time to celebrate! Join us to reminisce, reconnect and have some fun with your fellow Huskies.
Attire: Dressy Casual
Dinner and two drinks will be included.
Everyone gets a swag bag.
Photobooth will be there to take pics with your fave classmates.
You must purchase advance tickets.
NO EXCUSES! Why not join the fun?
I already see what everyone is up to on Facebook, why should I come?
Seriously? 3 words for you. ACTUAL HUMAN INTERACTION. Step away from your mobile phone, break away from your tablet, and turn off that computer. Let's take it back old school when you could actually have a face to face conversation with someone without acronyms and emojis.
I already talk to/hang out with all of my close friends from high school. I don’t really care about anyone else.
Who said they couldn’t come too? Plus you can get really cool swag and take photo booth pictures with them to cherish forever.
I have to pay for this?
Nothing in life is really free. Plus you will be fed and be given drinks. And did we mention swag? You can also save a little bit when you buy two tickets so bring your significant other or your BFF.
I hated high school and the people there. Why celebrate?
Everyone? Not one single person you can remember with fondness? Check your contact list, I bet there is at least one faithful high school pal there. Message them and see if they are going. Ask if they would like to see you there.
I'm too fat / going bald / am not rich yet / don’t have a high-powered job / not married / had kids / haven’t bought a house / (fill in your personal issue)
You aren't alone. Not a good excuse. Pull on your Spanx, comb it over and forget about it for the night. When will you be successful enough to face everyone? 10 or 20 years from now when our memories will be foggy? Please don't wait that long, life is too short to miss a chance to connect. Check your ego, and show up anyway. You have been doing something these past 10 years come and tell everyone about it!
But seriously y’all, there is something to celebrate about where we came from and how far we've come, even if some of you are afraid it's not far enough. We hope to see you at this very special Husky reUNION because our reunion won't be the same without you! Come out and show your husky pride.
So then . . . we will see you there!
