Check out this free film festival in Queens! JCAL's 10 Minute Film Festival presents exciting independent short films from NYC based artists. The event will feature insightful Q&A discussions, networking opportunities and more.
Following the opening reception at 6:30pm, 10 Minute Film Festival will begin with a Q&A discussion featuring accomplished film producers Luc Stephen and Omarr A Salgado. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn the filmmakers’ process as creatives and entrepreneurs.
The discussion will be followed by the screening of 10 short films from the participating artists. Audience members will be encouraged to vote for their favorite films, and JCAL will award the audience pick, and the top two juror picks with cash prizes. 10 Minute Film Festival will conclude with a roundtable discussion featuring the participating filmmakers.

The Jamaica Center for Arts & Learning (JCAL), founded in 1972, is a multidisciplinary arts center based in the diverse community of Southeast Queens.
