10 Lessons from my entrepreneurial journey

The Japan Chapter of Columbia Venture Community (CVC) is pleased to invite you to a virtual session with Arudchelvan Krishnamoorthy, Co-Founder and CFO at Rapyuta Robotics. As a Co-Founder, he founded Rapyuta Robotics, a cloud robotics platform provider, in 2014 and the company raised Series C funding in 2022. In this virtual session, he will share with us 10 lessons he has learned along his entrepreneurial journey.

• Company overview and his founding story including why he chose Japan as its base.
• Lessons learned from starting a business to raising about 6.4 billion yen (USD 51 Million) in Series C funding led by Goldman Sachs

Arudchelvan Krishnamoorthy | Co-Founder and CFO at Rapyuta Robotics

Former founding Partner & CIO at Fund of Tokyo, a global macro hedge fund. Worked for Nomura Securities, as an equity derivatives analyst. Moved to Japan from Sri Lanka in 2004 and enrolled in Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2005 where he met the Co-Founder of Rapyuta Robotics. M.A. from Columbia Univ. and B.Eng. from Tokyo Institute of Technology.

アルドチェルワン クリシナムルティ | ラピュタロボティクス株式会社 共同創業者兼CFO

グローバルマクロヘッジファンドであるFund of Tokyoの元共同創業者兼CIO。野村證券にてエクイティデリバティブのアナリストとして勤務。2004年にスリランカから来日し、2005年に東京工業大学に入学。そこでラピュタロボティクス株式会社の共同創業者と出会う。東京工業大学にて制御・システムエンジニアリング学士号、コロンビア大学にて経済数学修士号を取得。
