Event description

Description

Stand-up comedy about physics, suitable for people who have forgotten everything they learnt at school. Space is big, but boring. The Large Hadron Collider is old news. Physics is really about cherry trees and candles and cutlery. Everything is made of the same particles (mostly), and obeys the same laws of physics (probably). So why is it all so different? How can the forces that make a star explode in a supernova be the same forces that make a fork just sit there? Theoretical physicist and stand-up comedian Dr Fran Day investigates.
