New Student Orientation
Welcome to Brunswick Community College and the start of a brand new life. From this point forward, many opportunities will become available to you.
New Student Orientation, also referred to as "OAR", is attended by freshman and transfer students. Orientation helps students transition into college providing students and parents an opportunity to meet faculty and classmates, learn about support services, and ask questions before the semester starts. It is also when students' meet one-on-one with a success coach/advisor to discuss education and career goals, establish their Plan of Study, and register for upcoming classes.
Attendees will also learn about class attendance, financial aid, the registration process, technology services and student life at BCC.
We would like the opportunity to welcome you to the BCC Family and help you make this very important transition.
Thank you for choosing BCC, and we look forward to seeing you at New Student Orientation!
