AM Session 1: Sustainable Ethical Leadersip in a Competive Marketplace.
Instructor: Dan Verreault
Participants will examine ethical models with emphasis on applications to business situations. Special attention will be devoted to the use of Integrative Social Contracts Theory (ISCT) as an ethical lens to use in analyzing moral dilemmas in business. Participants will analyze selected ethical challenges and failings from several industries representing both domestic and international issues using ISCT. The triple bottom line concept and corporate social responsibility reporting will be discussed and evaluated as methods by which corporations might widen the criteria used to evaluate opportunities and costs. The possible impacts on formal capital budgeting proposals will be discussed.
PM Session 2: Finanaical Statement Analysis for Managers
Instructor: Steve Plateau
Participants will learn their actions impact the critical sections of the financial statements of the firm. The course develops an understanding of how the cash flows statement springs from enterprise activity in the income statement and balance sheet. Participants will work using excel on their own laptops to develop a usable financial model. Financial metrics employed to evaluate enterprise performance will be explored as particular strategies and transactions impact the financial statements. Recent developments in the financial markets and financial regulation will also be modeled during the course. This is a hands-on session with interactive projects integrated into the course.

AM Session 3: Leading Teams and Increasing Productivity
Instructors: Bella Galperin and Deirdre Dixon
Building and leading effective teams is one of the most complex and critical challenges facing organizational leaders. In this session, participants will: (1) gain an understanding of the stages 2 of team formation, (2) gain an understanding of the effective tools used to build, participate in, and lead diverse teams in different contexts, (3) understand how to effectively manage and motivate influential team members, and, (4) understand how to inspire team members to enhance and maximize individual performance within teams. Participants will also develop a set of skills associated with teamwork, such as diversity awareness, effective communication, negotiations, trust building, emotional intelligence and conflict management.
PM Session 4: Entrepreneurship and Innovcation Within Organizations
Instructor: Rebecca White
Today’s fast paced business world coupled with current economic challenges leaves most leaders feeling like the Red Queen in Lewis Carroll’s Through the Looking Glass. The Red Queen describes her dilemma: "It takes all the running you can do, to keep in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run at least twice as fast as that!" Participants in this class will learn how to get off of the treadmill and create an organizational environment that fosters the development and execution of game changing products, services and systems by fostering and employing creative problem solving, an entrepreneurial mindset and the tools of innovation.

AM Session 5: Strategic Thinking in Your Company.

The best strategy occurs at the intersection of understanding your company and the opportunities in your industry. Thinking Strategically is a seminar that covers the state-of-the-art techniques for identifying opportunities in the industry and for assessing the competencies of your company. The seminar will be based on Dr. Tompson’s model called the Strategy Process Cycle. During the seminar, techniques will be presented as stand-alone skills that you can practice and take back to your company as part of your strategic planning. This seminar is targeted to middle and upper level managers who have responsibility for strategic planning in their organizations.
PM Session 6: Building Releationship with Online Customers through Social Media Marketing

Advancements in technology have had undeniable impact on customer decision making and behavior. These changes require organizations to review the way they interact with customers. To ensure that an organization’s online presence communicates the right image to customers and other stakeholders, management must approach these new types of customer interactions from a strategic vantage point. This session will teach managers to build and nurture online relationships with customers in the brave, new online world.
