Organizer of Ho'ala Na Kanaka Cultural Workshops
The foundationSimultaneously preserving culture through teaching, sharing and documenting. Creating spaces for discussion on innovation while sustaining the foundation of Indigenous Hawaiian practices. As time becomes placeholders in history, how do we gather those moments for retention, honor, and the ability to carry on for generations to come.This project will be inclusive of kupuna 'ike Hawai'i, both traditional and modern in context along with those living in Hawai'i and those who are away from their piko.
