Event Marketing Redefined: A Discussion with Scott Schenker from Microsoft

For many years, marketers have used the 4 “P’s” of Marketing (price, promotion, packaging, etc.) as levers to differentiate and distinguish their products. In this webinar, Event Marketing Redefined, we’ll uncover how Microsoft general manager of worldwide events and the Microsoft Production Studio, Scott Schenker, has revitalized Microsoft’s events by building from this marketing platform to improve event results.

Schenker will introduce “The 4 P’s of Event Marketing,” sharing how Microsoft and others implement these new concepts of place, purpose, pride, and promotion into events, from strategy and design to marketing and execution.

Learn tips on how to:

  • “Own” a live event, carefully crafting a sense of place for experience, conversation, and information sharing
  • Define a clear purpose, delivering an experience that resonates
  • Ensure that the pride and passion behind your event affects to every person involved
  • Take advantage of the opportunity to cross-promote relevant products and services
