Ticketing takes over Australia and New Zealand!

2012 has just begun, but our whirlwind international journey at Eventbrite is full steam ahead! Last year, we defined our international strategy, opened our first global office in London, and officially launched 3 localized sites in UK, Canada and Ireland. In 2012, our international reach now spans the Pacific, as we recently announced local sites for Australia and New Zealand.

These launches are another step along our quest to ticket the world’s events. Our Australia and NZ sites offer features like localized formats for time, distance and language options, and help users easily find local events.

Event organizers and attendees in Australia and New Zealand will also benefit our new 24-hour customer support. No matter the time in Melbourne or Perth, our team is just a local phone call away.

The feedback for these features came from our users, and even our own transplanted Briteling team. One accolade came from a resident Aussie on our design team, who declared our new .com.au site “felt like home.” I hope all our customers in Australia and New Zealand feel welcomed in the same way.
