We’re spreading Eventbrite Orange throughout the globe.

Recently, I was thrilled to share the first step in our international journey, our launch in the UK. But, that was just the beginning for global at Eventbrite.

We’ve been hard at work churning out our next international releases. Product engineering wanted to cap 2011 by showcasing our focus on global. In the month of December, we increased our global reach by releasing not one, but two localized sites. Our focus is on delivering customized experiences for users in Canada and Ireland. These launches are another step along our journey to ticket the world’s events.

To determine which features to build, I interviewed our existing customers, and even polled our own team. (We are lucky enough to have Britelings who hail from around the world, sitting just a Nerf dart shot away.) We hope that all of our customers in Canada and Ireland feel welcomed to our ever-expanding global community. Check out the features, and stay tuned for more on our international journey as we enter 2012!

New features include:

  • Local date and time format selection
  • Localized spelling changes, local event page language options
  • Tax support for those who need to add taxes to tickets
  • Showcase of local events on the homepage
  • Extended local support hours and sales (we are hiring, too!)

Tell us where you’re from on Facebook and Twitter.
