Explore Popular Event Categories with Eventbrite for Mobile

Just in time for the holiday season, we’re sending you a little early holiday gift of our very own. Whether you’re looking to get into the holiday spirit this month, or looking for something else to do (like checking out a live music event or volunteering for a non-profit), we’ve made it easier to find what you’re looking for.

Now you can search on the go for interesting events by our most popular categories — from food and wine events to conferences and networking events — with Eventbrite for mobile on your iPhone or Android device.

Update to Eventbrite 2.3 for mobile to:

  • Browse and filter your search results by our most popular categories, including music events, conferences, food and wine events, festivals, performing arts events, classes, business events, fundraisers, networking events, and outdoor events. With all these options, it’s easy to find something to do!
  • Sort by date to plan ahead. You can sort upcoming events to find events happening today, tomorrow, this week, and this weekend.
  • Filter your search results by distance — 1 mile, 5 miles, 10 miles, or 30 miles from where you are. Some events are totally worth a longer car ride, but when you want something local or within walking distance, every mile makes a difference!
  • Easier to add tickets to Passbook (for iOS 6 users): In October, we launched our Passbook integration so you can add your Eventbrite tickets to Passbook on iPhone and iPod touch devices running iOS 6. Now, it’s easier to add tickets to Passbook from the Eventbrite app or from your order confirmation email on iPhone 5/4S/4 devices.

Get the update on the App Store or Google Play to check these new features out. Let us know what interesting events you find and plan to attend this December!
