Eventbrite comes to Windows Phone 7 through 3rd party application

Independent developers built an application for Eventbrite users on the Windows Phone 7 platform. Manage your events, look up your tickets, or find new interesting events around you.

We’ve come a long way since we launched our first mobile app for the iPhone. Since then – we’ve added bar code scanning, improved the UI, and changed the name to Entry Manager – which is now available on Android as well.

Beyond our Entry Manager app for event organizers, we’ve also added the Eventbrite app for attendees to store mobile tickets, and most recently, we introduced At The Door – an iPad app that enables organizers to set up a mobile box office.

As you can see, our mobile team has been hard at work building multiple apps for Android and iOS. So, when a 3rd party developer wanted to build an independent app for Eventbrite users who use Windows Phone 7 – we were happy to provide the platform for them to do so.

Meet Metrobrite: an application for WP7. With Metrobrite you can manage your events, tickets, and attendees on your WP7 device.

Also, you can search other events, save your search preferences, view events on map, and display important directions via Bing Maps.

Metrobrite allows you to easily share your events via mail, QR codes or social networks. Lastly, it makes it easy to create reminders for events or add them to your phone calendar.
