Add Eventbrite Tickets to Passbook on iOS 6

Eventbrite Passbook 3

At Eventbrite, we’re constantly on the lookout for ways to offer better, simpler, and more seamless event-going experiences for our attendees. When we launched the Eventbrite app for iOS last year, we were thrilled to offer you a way to keep all of your Eventbrite tickets in one place and just show up to events with your phone (finally, no more printers!).

Today, we’re really excited to announce that you can add your Eventbrite tickets to Passbook on iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6. We’ve created some beautiful tickets specifically for Passbook, and we think you’re going to love it.

The primary way of getting your tickets into Passbook is through our Eventbrite app for iOS. With the latest 2.2 update, you’ll now see an option to “Add to Passbook” from the share menu on your event ticket.

You’ll also be able to add your ticket to Passbook by simply opening your order confirmation email in the Mail app or by purchasing tickets from your browser on an iPhone 5.

We love the idea that every time you open Passbook to access your coupons or loyalty cards, you’ll also see your Eventbrite ticket to that upcoming event you’re really looking forward to.  And with location and time-based Passbook notifications, your event ticket automatically appears on your home screen ready for use when it’s needed.

If you haven’t already, download the latest version of the Eventbrite app to start adding tickets to your Passbook. If you’re having some issues, check out our Help Center for frequently asked questions about how our tickets work with Passbook.

For us, it’s all about providing you with a great experience — so tell us what you think. Feel free to leave comments below and share any suggestions you have!
