Biography

FireHouse is a glam metal band that first showed up during the late 80s. The group plays glam metal or glam rock and they were formed in 1989 in Charlotte, North Carolina. During the early 90s, the group achieved their most important successes and their singles such as “When I Look Into Your Eyes”, “Love of a Lifetime, “I Live My Life for You”, “All She Wrote” and “Don’t Treat Me Bad” were great hits.

FireHouse even won in the Favorite Rock Artist category in 1992 over groups like Alice in Chains and Nirvana, showing how big they were. Their first album was self-titled and released in 1991 and instantly, it went platinum. In 1992, they released their second album titled “Hold Your Fire”.

Even though the mainstream accepted rock and grunge, the popularity of the bend dwindled as the decade passed. Even though the group lost its popularity in the US, they remained very popular in Asia.
