Promote your event with widgets

Promote your events by inserting a custom widget into your own website

Want to include a calendar showing all your events on your personal website? How about the registration page for a particular event? Customize the widget's color scheme to match that of your website, generate the HTML code with one click and then drop it into your site's code. Here's how!

Note

Note: Your outside website must support iframes in order to embed these widgets. If your website was built with Wordpress, for instance, you'd need install a plugin allowing you to embed iframes in your site. Also, widgets cannot be used in conjunction with our invite-only feature.

To access the different widgets that are available, first sign up or log in to Eventbrite. From the My Events page, click on the name of your published event and then check out the Promote section of the features menu on the left side of the page.

Note: The Promote section won't appear until you've published your event or made it live.

Ticket form widget: To place a ticket order form for your published event on your website, first select Add Ticket Form to Website.

You'll see a preview of the ticket form at the top. Scroll down, then copy & paste the ready-made HTML code into your own website.

Visitors to your website can now initiate a ticket sale right from your site!

Entire registration page: To integrate the entire event page into your own website, select Add Registration to Website.

You'll see a preview of the registration page at the top. Scroll down, then copy & paste the ready-made HTML code into your own website.

Visitors to your website can now see all your event details and initiate a ticket sale right from your site!

Event calendar widget: To display a calendar widget showing all your upcoming public events, select Display Event Calendar on Site.

Choose from a variety of customization options, including selecting a color scheme to match that of your website. You're also able to choose which events you'd like to display on your calendar widget.

When you're finished customizing the widget, click the Create your widget button and the widget's HTML code will be displayed in the box below. Copy & paste the code into your website.

Visitors to your website can click on a highlighted date, read more about the event below the calendar and then click on the name of the event to go to the event page and register!

Event countdown widget: To display a countdown widget for your event, select Display Countdown on Site.

Choose from a variety of customization options, including selecting a color scheme to match that of your website. When you're finished customizing the widget, select the Create Widget button and the widget's HTML code will be displayed in the box below. Copy & paste the code into your website.

Visitors to your website can click on Register Now button to register for your event!
