Integrating with PayPal

Here's all you need to know to get your PayPal and Eventbrite accounts linked up so you can start using PayPal to process payments for your Eventbrite event!

On PayPal's site:

If you don't already have a Business or Premier PayPal account, sign up for PayPal now or upgrade your Personal PayPal account.

On Eventbrite's site:

To get started, first sign up for a free Eventbrite account or log in to your existing Eventbrite account and create an event.

If you’d like to access an already-created event, click My Events at the top of the screen and then click on Edit to the right of your event’s name.

In Step 2: Add Ticket Information on your event's Edit page, click on Edit in the Collect Payments section.

In the Payment Options window that opens, choose PayPal. Then enter your PayPal email address in the field provided. Make sure you enter the email address correctly, as this is how you'll receive money from your attendees!

Click Save at the bottom of the window once you're finished.

You are now set up to receive credit card and PayPal payments using PayPal! The PayPal logo will appear on your event page, along with any other payment methods you've decided to accept.

To get started, first sign up for a free Eventbrite account or log in to your existing Eventbrite account and create an event.

After you’ve saved your changes and/or made your event live, go to your event’s Payment Options page by first clicking on My Events at the top of the screen, then clicking on the name of your event to go to your event's Manage page.

On your event's Manage page, click Payment Options near the top of the features menu on the left side of the page.

On the Payment Options screen, choose PayPal from the Select payment processor dropdown menu. Then enter your PayPal email address in the field provided. Make sure you enter the email address correctly, as this is how you'll receive money from your attendees!

Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page once you're finished.

You are now set up to receive credit card and PayPal payments using PayPal! The PayPal logo will appear on your event page, along with any other payment methods you've decided to accept.
