How much will it cost to use Eventbrite Payment Processing?

Using Eventbrite Payment Processing, our service costs you nothing.  We charge a small fee to your customers (or you can change this and absorb the fee).  The Payment Processing fee is 3% and the Eventbrite Fee is $0.99 + 2.5%.  So, if you use Eventbrite Payment Processing, the total cost to your attendee is $0.99 + 5.5% per ticket.  (example: $50 ticket + $3.74 fee = $53.74 paid by attendee).

Can I still use PayPal or Google Checkout to manage payments for my events?

Yes! We are just adding another payment processing option for your convenience.  You can change your payment collection methods from event to event.

How do I receive my money if I use Eventbrite Payment Processing? 

After your event, Eventbrite will send you a confirmation email with the details of your event revenue and pay out information.  You have 96 hours (4 days) from event end to process any refunds and make any adjustments.  On the 5th day after your event has ended, Eventbrite will mail you a check for your total event revenue (less Eventbrite and Transaction fees).  It's really that easy!

Can I change the payment processing method at any time?

After ticket sales have started on an event, you cannot change the payment processing method.  However, you can change it at any time during the set up of your event and you can use a different method for each event you host.

How are refunds processed with Eventbrite Payment Processing?

Refunds are processed by Eventbrite directly as requested by the event holder.
