Download the attendee report for your event.

- Log in to Eventbrite.

- Click on the name of your event.

- In the left hand features column, select Entry Management.

- Click the download button and save the guest list to your computer.

Open the CheckMate software on your computer (titled Eventbrite CheckMate).

Select the Browse button and find the attendee report you just downloaded on your computer. Then, select Go to launch CheckMate.

To check an attendee in using the bar codes on tickets, a webcam must be installed on the computer. CheckMate operates in two modes, Test and Checkin. Test Mode should be used for testing bar code checkins and getting comfortable with the bar code reader. Test Mode does not record the check in, it leaves the status as not yet checked in. Checkin Mode will allow an attendee to be checked in only once. When a bar code is read the order information will be displayed and the status will be changed to Checked In.

After launching CheckMate with your Guest List the bar code scanner will be ready when the window in the lower left corner stops displaying Initializing Webcam.

Hold the printed ticket in front of the web cam so that the bar code is fully visible in the window.

CheckMate will play a sound to indicate that a ticket has been scanned and is valid. The display area will also show information about the ticket purchaser.

Note: You can also use CheckMate to check in attendees manually by name. To do so, simply enter the first name, last name, or both in to the search area and select the Search button. When you've found the correct attendee in the list, select the Check In button and the CheckMate tool will display a ticket valid message and sound along with the attendee information.
