W.H.O.L.E. Ministries, Inc. is a nonprofit organization under the VIP Ministries, Inc. organization of Victory In Praise Church. Although W.H.O.L.E. Ministries operates as a stand-alone entity, it abides by the governing principles of its overseeing organization. Our mission is “Taking Jesus to the Hurting” and we do this through several venues. Our ministry is not a traditional ministry and we believe that is what keeps the community coming to us. Our purpose is to give other alternatives to drugs, alcohol, violence and hang-ups.
Although it is our desire, that everyone we minister to comes to know Christ on a personal level, we understand that many will only come for the initial help of getting their life restored to a healthy functioning and productive level again. We believe that the principles taught will keep them from returning to old habits that result in unwelcome behavior. It is our firm belief that they will not forget the ones that helped them in their time of need.
W.H.O.L.E. Ministries started in 2005, by Linda A. Hillman through a realistic look of how life can devastate the psyche of a person. Counseling people who were dealing with real issues, feeling like all hope was gone, Linda set out to change how people deal with hurt, habits and hang-ups. There are recovery houses for physical healing, mental healing and spiritual healing but no one resource was doing it all. Linda wanted to create a process that a person could obtain the healing that they needed in every area of their life and not have a specific timeframe set for completion. Linda understands that some healing can take years, she wanted a person to feel that the help they needed is always available to them. They are never alone in their process.
The ministry of W.H.O.L.E. Ministries is to help people fill complete, entire and lacking nothing. Utilizing scripture, prayer and counseling, this ministry has excelled in changing lives. Its ongoing approach has proven to help those in the ministry stay successful in all their endeavors. The actual credit goes to Jesus Christ who is faithful to complete each case as he sees fit. The volunteers and staff of W.H.O.L.E. Ministries look for every opportunity to let Him shine through their services and ministry. We believe everyone needs a chance to live the life destined to him or her.
Whether Christian or not, each individual is treated with the respect and admiration we would want to receive. Our services are not dependant upon you accepting our beliefs. All services are available to those who are in need. Individuals receive help according to their needs physically, socially, financially, emotionally, spiritually, mentally and professionally.
