The Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut is the administrative name for the Episcopal Church in Connecticut. A diocese is a geographic region headed by a bishop. In this case, the region is the entire state. The bishop is the Rt. Rev. Ian T. Douglas, assisted by two bishops suffragan, the Rt. Rev. Laura J. Ahrens and the Rt. Rev. James E. Curry. Their offices are at Diocesan House, in Hartford. Other diocesan wide staff work at the Hartford office as well.
