CANTER Ohio is an all-volunteer registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing Ohio's retiring Thoroughbred racehorses opportunities for new careers.  Through 2008, 545 horses have gone through CANTER Ohio's placement program to find new lives off the track in carefully screened homes.  In addition, we have helped 2,000 horses find new careers directly off the track via our trainer listings.  For more information on CANTER Ohio, please visit our website at www.canterusa.org/ohio.
