Guardian Masterclasses
The Guardian is proud to announce Masterclasses, an ambitious international programme of face-to-face courses across film, food and drink, gardening, music, photography, technology, writing and other disciplines.
Directed by leading figures across a range of different specialisms, our courses will adopt a serious approach to learning without working to a bland and prescriptive syllabus.
Cookie-cutter philosophies, jargon, catch-phrases and buzz words will be replaced with masterful insights from practitioners – insights formed by achievement, recognition and years of hands-on experience.
Our Masterclasses will not provide a magic formula or a rule book for achieving success – these concepts simply do not exist.
Instead, in venues chosen to inspire and provoke open-minded thinking, our programme will aim to set the bar high and offer stimulating and enlightening experiences. Hard work, perseverance and a sense of humour are the watchwords for anyone wishing to attend.
