Connections to Success
Connections to Success (CtS) is a local nonprofit whose vision is to "break the cycle of poverty, one family at a time." You may know them by Dress for Success Midwest, which is one of their programs. This program provides donated suits for women to wear to job interviews. Over 25,000 women have received assistance in the nine years Dress for Success Midwest has been open!
CtS finds solutions to the life-scarring experiences of homelessness, welfare dependency, violence, incarceration and their accompanying trappings such as poor health conditions. Ours is a program of intervention, education, training and support, with the intermediary goal of establishing a healthy balance, followed by the overarching goal to end the cycle of risk factors that trigger severe and lasting disadvatages, some of which span generations.
Our mission is to empower determined individuals with a plan and resources to achieve economic self-reliance.
