TONY AWARD WINNER, POETRI
As seen on 'OPRAH', this TONY AWARD Winner has traveled all over the nation as well as internationally, teaching and entertaining audiences ranging from forty to four thousand. His shows have been embraced by a plethora of stages including but not limited to The Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, the Apollo Theatre in New York City, the Clay Center in West Virginia, and the Fox Theatre in Atlanta. Since 1993, Poetri has been performing and teaching workshops for hundreds of schools, private sectors, and corporate events, showcasing the skills needed to confront the art of spoken word. His enormous humor and unique style of reciting daily experiences not only entertain, but educate his audience. Experience Poetri in person.
The goals of Poetri's Workshop are to develop the skills needed for spoken communication, to increase appreciation and enjoyment of free verse, to become a more effective speaker, to develop skills in listening and in giving and getting constructive verbal and nonverbal feedback, and most of all...to find personal ways of expression in this eloquent art called Poetri.
