With over 50 members, Palm Springs Leather Order
of the Desert is the Coachella
Valley’s largest
Leather/SM/Fetish social, educational, support and charitable organization. We
promote with power and pride the right of all adults to engage in safe, sane
and consensual sexual expression. We are most well-known for producing Turning Up the Heat, Palm Springs’ annual Leather Pride
celebration and the Fetish Ball. A registered
501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation, PSLOD donated over $18,000 to over a dozen
local and national charities in 2008. Local recipients included the AIDS
Assistance Program, Desert AIDS Project, Desert Pride
Center, Desert Women for
Equality Mammogram Program and Well in the Desert.
