The Dhoonya Curriculum offers mainstream America a simple, authentic way to learn various styles of Bollywood-inspired dance. Dhoonya started in Washington D.C. in 2005 and its success has led to its expansion into New York City.  We’ve graduated hundreds of students, taught numerous corporate workshops for organizations such as J.P. Morgan, and Time Warner and choreographed performances for national television with Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Baachan, The Kennedy Center & World Bank.  Dhoonya has been profiled in the Washington Post, Washingtonian, Daily Candy and Voice of America for pioneering the Bollywood dance phenomena long before the Slumdog Millionaire hit.
