Welcome to FOCUS: Designed by Sarah Milston to meet the practical needs of busy professionals, FOCUS is a monthly, two-hour workshop that will take participants through targeted (read: focused), tactical work that will help move organizations from ideas to action. Each session combines one hour of education and advice from local experts, followed by an hour of collaborative problem solving, case study exploration and in-the-moment, crowd-sourced advice. From web design to social media, from employee relations to volunteer management, FOCUS is built around a belief that deploying concrete, tangible actions make the difference in a competitive world. Each session will be capped at 50 participants to maximize the shared learning experience; we ask that organizations send no more than two people to each event.
