Youth Solidarity Summer
YSS is a volunteer collective of artists, activists, educators and students providing alternate education for South Asian youth since 1997. Youth Solidarity Summer's mission is to provide radical political education for young activists of South Asian descent. YSS aims to build a movement of youth activists engaged in anti-oppression work, and to create a forum to share organizational and political strategies. The long-term goal of the program is to create solidarity among a new generation of activists fighting for social justice.
