RTP was founded to advance education, jobs, and quality of life in all of North Carolina. 

We’ve created a new Master Plan to redevelop the Park’s physical landscape and give today’s workers the coffee shops, community, and collaboration they need. Now we’re taking a step back to rethink the Park’s role in North Carolina’s economy and growth. We know that North Carolina, and RTP, are only as strong as all of our communities. Together, we must figure out how to collaborate and build stronger connections to meet the demands of the 21st century.

RTP's mission is to improve access to education, jobs, and a better quality of life for all of North Carolina. We believe that mission starts with supporting the innovation and entrepreneurship taking place in communities around the state — including yours. On the Pathways to Opportunity tour, we want to reconnect with you, the people doing great things for North Carolina.

Archie Davis, one of RTP’s early champions, began the RTP’s development with a tour of North Carolina. You could say we’re getting back to our roots by following his example.
