GlobalTradu LLC was founded on the basis of utmost commitment to quality in Interpreting and Translation. We provide training to maintain and improve the linguistic and professional skills of Spanish/English Translation and Interpreting professionals and students. Additionally, we offer professional interpreting and translation services. GlobalTradu is based on the vision of its chief trainer and founder Daniel Tamayo.

The GlobalTradu Team is comprised of professionally trained translators, interpreters, linguists and trainers who are subject-matter experts in their respective fields. They are either certified by a reputable accrediting body or they hold a graduate degree in their area of expertise. Regardless of the type of credentials our team members hold, they boast a proven track record as practitioners and/or instructors.

Daniel began working as a translator and interpreter on a part-time basis in 1993, and full-time in the year 2000. He specializes in the areas of Business, Economics, Politics, Immigration, Education, and the Environment.
- Translation: As a freelance translation professional, his work includes bi-directional English-Spanish translations, editing, and proofreading. Additionally, he manages translation projects.
- Interpreting: His primary roles have been as a conference interpreter and as a med-legal interpreter. He travels throughout the State of California interpreting in both the public and the private sectors.
Since 2006, he has been a board member and instructor for the Translation and Interpreting Program at California State University, Fullerton. That same year he started working as a Spanish Instructor at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, where he continues serving in that capacity.
Some professional highlights include:
- Interpreted Los Angeles City Council meetings, interprets abroad for international organizations such as IITC and TEBTEBBA, and live-translated the 2012 Guadalupana Celebration held at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
- Translations of documents and webpages for clients such as: California Department of Transportation, Sears and Roebuck, Co., Aramark, Cypress College, City of Huntington Park, Specialty Silicon Fabricators, International Indian Treaty Council, and West Coast Radiology Center.
Daniel holds an MA Degree in Translation from the Monterey Institute of International Studies Graduate School of Translation, Interpretation, and Language Education, where he also completed a Court Interpreting Program and several courses in Translation and Localization Management. He holds an MA Degree in Hispanic Language and Civilization from the University of California, Santa Barbara. In addition, he holds a BS Degree in Business Administration and several graduate courses in Economics from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
