Emmy is the driving force behind the Choose Joy Event.

After 7 years of struggling through secondary infertility {they have a biological son Beau who is 9}, Emmy and her husband adopted their daughter in 2011. Through her entire experience with infertility she felt like there was a much bigger reason that God was allowing this suffering in her life. She is a person that will share her story with anyone that will listen, and has felt that God has been calling her to share this experience in a big way.

She is so excited to watch as God pulls together this event, and has been blessed and humbled by the other women that have chosen to be a part of Choose Joy.

Emmy is a work-at-home-mom, who runs a small business out of her garage in between shuttling the kids around to swim practice and piano lessons.  She loves Jesus, her family, and all things paper... in that order.  When she is not running her Calendar Empire, she enjoys cooking, eating, and hosting dinner parties {do you sense a theme???}.  She occasionally finds time to blog at Confessions of a Paper Freak.

She loves sharing her story with other women, and her greatest hope is that she can encourage others to love God's plan for their life, even when it doesn't match up with their own.  She believes that His way truly is always the best way.
