NEFRHO is a community-based organization whose supporters currently include physicians, hospitals, health plans and employers. The focus is facilitating a regional health information exchange that can result in better decision-making – translating to better care at lower costs – by physicians, patients and purchasers throughout the region. The Collaboration Summit will bring together professionals and organizations – all touching health care in important ways – to talk about how, by sharing and using information more effectively, we can produce better care at lower cost. The emphasis will be on practical approaches, not just theory, and we’ll have nationally prominent speakers who will talk about programs that work and the results that have come out of them.
