Morton Plant Mease- Emergency Preparedness
The Office of Emergency Preparedness for Morton Plant Mease Healthcare is responsible for Mitigation, Preparedness, Response and Recovery of all emergencies that affect the hospitals or their ability to provide care for the community.
The Emergency Preparedness office also plans for; and responds to emergencies, provides training, and support to meet the requirements of the Emergency Management,and Life safety chapters of the Joint Commission, Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) and CMS.
This training is provided in coordination with The St. Petersburg Metropolitian Medical Response System (MMRS) to provide training to all Health and Medical organizations in the Pinellas/Pasco area of Florida.
