Jon Reed offers social media consultancy, in-house training and workshops through Reed Media.  He has worked in social media since its earliest days, and has helped thousands of people use it effectively for marketing through his writing, blogging, speaking and workshops. In addition to running workshops, he also lectures on social media marketing on several university courses including Birkbeck, Brunel, City, Kingston and Bath Spa. 

Jon previously worked in academic publishing for 10 years, including as publishing director for McGraw-Hill. He spends more time writng these days, and his bestselling book Get Up to Speed with Online Marketing: How to use websites, blogs, social networking and much more was published by FT Prentice Hall in 2010.
