Jointly sponsored by Atlanta Emerging Librarians (AEL) and Metro-Atlanta Library Association (MALA).
MALA was established in 1982. Its
objective is to advance library interests and services in the greater Atlanta area. Membership is open to all persons interested in advancing library and information resource interests in the Metro Atlanta area. Web site: http://www.matllib.org/
Members Joel Glogowski and others are representing MALA in this event.
AEL formed in early 2008 desiring to create in-person connections between distance education library, information, and media science students as well as new graduates living in the Atlanta area.
The AEL group is affiliated with the Georgia Library Association's (GLA) New Members Round Table. The AEL planning group is comprised of Ashley Dupuy, chair, Charlene Gross, Kat RobinSun, Bridget Summerour, and Sarah Steiner. We welcome any questions or ideas for future meetings.
