Always evolving and developing since its first inception 22-years ago, as Carwash comes of age it can boast the title of the UK's best fancy dress club. As well as this it hold residencies in many capitals on mainland Europe - Paris, Vienna, Ibiza and St Tropez - and has a guest list which has included superstars such as Shakira, Robbie Williams, JK and the Minogue sisters to name but a few.

The dress code is famous and simple – go wild. Revellers mix up your decades, come doused in colour, saturated with humour or style and prepared to be amazed as the Carwash dancefloor mayhem transforms a corner of disillusioned Britain for one night a week. Dress with your own ideas and keep it fun, fresh and outrageous. You can wear whatever you like as long as it is fancy dress. We want to see your dreams written on the tin, as it were. Retro chic or nouveau cool or the maddest thing you can find at the back of your wardrobe.

When people arrive at Carwash, they already have a party in their hearts. Our sound track acts like fuel to this flame, causing an explosion on the dance floor. Check the Dress Code gallery and you will see what we mean. At Carwash you will be surrounded by funky and imaginative people intent in having a great time.

As for the night itself circus performers, break-dancers, live PAs, stage dancers and an explosion of musical and DJ talent take over, sprinkling magic around all in attendance and creating a unique wonderland of mythical splendour. The soundtrack is retro anthems and party classics: disco, funk, rock, 80s pop, old skool and 90s floor fillers - along with servings of soul and classic hip-hop creating an incredible energy and dynamic dance floor all night long. Our veritable pallet of musical viagra will be enough to turn your feet black and blue. Alongside the dancing, a liberal host of fresh and super fabulous artists and crew members will be performing on our stages, bars, tables, podiums, mirror balls and anywhere else they care to shake and shimmy.
