The Technology Council of Northwest PA was formed in the fall of 2002 by a group of technology entrepreneurs who saw a greater vision for their industry in shaping the future of the region. As one of four technology councils in PA, the Board quickly set about benchmarking best practices and engendering elements unique to northwest PA. The result was an aggressive program to keep the knowledge workforce abreast of emerging technology and to create an environment that fosters innovation and retention of the knowledge worker.
