CSI Pittsburgh is the area chapter for professionals and students in construction industry-related programs who get together with local construction industry professionals to learn, expand their skills, knowledge, and network to  contribute positively to their field.

The Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) is a technical organization whose members include architects, engineers, specification writers, product representatives, and contractors working together to organize, standardize, and communicate construction information.  CSI is unique, in that it facilitates an exchange of information between all participants in the construction process—a benefit not found in one-discipline organizations.
