Maryland Procurement and Technical Assistance Program's goal is to assist Maryland small businesses prepare for and engage in the procurement process with federal, state, and local government agencies. Founded in 2003 Maryland PTAP is located at the University of Maryland, College Park. Maryland PTAP was funded, in part, by the Department of Defense through the Defense Logistics Agency's Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development, the University of Maryland and other local agencies.
Maryland PTAP provides counseling services at no cost to the small business owner. Additionally we provide training and outreach programs for business to help them acquire the skills needed to pursue government contracts. For more information visit our website: www.mdptap.org
