About the Yale Entrepreneurial Institute

The Yale Entrepreneurial Institute is a University department that supports the efforts of Yale students to launch successful, scalable ventures. YEI is staffed by experts with deep scientific and business expertise and provides access to a Mentor Network of more than 100 experts. YEI offers year-round services to student entrepreneurs to develop and launch their businesses, including the Venture Creation Program for nurturing early-stage startups, the Technology Commercialization Program for forming faculty-student startups around cutting-edge research and the competitive 10-week Summer Fellowship where teams are given the funding, tools and connections to launch viable businesses by the summer’s end. There are currently 75 active YEI companies that have raised over $70 million in funding and created over 300 jobs. More information is available at yei.yale.edu.

About InnovateHealth Yale

Innovate Health Yale is committed to one concept: change. We are a group of Yale faculty, program directors, and students focused on using the principles of entrepreneurship and innovation to promote health and prevent disease. InnovateHealth Yale is a home for those at Yale interested in creating innovative solutions to health challenges. We will train students to become change agents, catalyze interdisciplinary entrepreneurial efforts to address national and global health problems, and bring to Yale social innovators as role models and mentors.
