Wyoming Community Media (WCM)

WCM produces the Cheyenne International Film Festival and The Shoot Out Cheyenne 24 Hour Filmmaking Festival as well as providing other digital media-related services. WCM doesn’t directly save whales or protect children, but empowers others to attain their goals and missions through training, digital media production services, fiscal agency, live event planning and implementation through social media marketing strategies.

Social Media Marketing WCM not only can produce top quality digital media that conveys your message, WCM can help you get your message seen and heard through harnessing social media like facebook, twitter and myspace. Event Development and Implementation WCM produces the annual Shoot Out Cheyenne 24 Hour Filmmaking festival in the fall. The event attracted 21 film making production crews to Downtown Cheyenne. The top 10 films were screened at the Lincoln Theater.

Community-Based Training and Out of School Learning

WCM provides training services to students of all ages in Southeast Wyoming and beyond. Training may be on an individual basis or for groups.

Fiscal Agency – Co-Production – Event Production WCM sponsors and co-produces projects for individuals or organizations without 501(c)(3) status. Non-profit status provides many benefits: productions be covered under the WCM liability insurance, be eligible for grants from foundations and the government, investors in your project can enjoy a tax exempt donation as allowed by law.
