Willows in the Wind

Willows is a peer-to-peer parent support group. We work together with industry educators and the community to help bring support and education to parents who have sent their teens to therapeutic boarding school programs. Willows provides safe and effective support meetings for the families while their teens are in residential care. We also promote ongoing education and awareness to prepare for the process of transition and aftercare once their teens graduate and return to their home and community. Meetings are held monthly in Los Altos, California.

Willows In The Wind is a non-profit charity organization and is supported by donations.  Parents meet monthly to discuss topics such as establishing the path home, core values, family agreements, the art of active listening, addictive behavior, relapse, parenting your graduate, and knowing when to let go. Guest speakers provide professional guidance to both parents and graduates.
