Velveteen Media is proud to offer a new series of writing and social media workshops at The Storied Studio in historic downtown Gulfport. Hosted by coast native Megan Jordan, you will immediately feel at ease and supported as you build your strategy and confidence inside the gorgeous brick walls of the studio just two blocks from the beach and Highway 49.
Megan Jordan is a writer, consultant, and co-founding editor of the recently launched lifestyle and imagination destination Wonder and Company: Merchants of Adventure and Whimsy. Mother of three, she updates her personal blog, VelveteenMind.com, at a Southern pace (read: leisurely). Her 8 years of experience, balance, and perspective make her a sought-after voice.
An entertaining speaker at national writing and social media conferences and recognized as a best practices study for her integrated marketing, she has designed and implemented social media campaigns for brands such as Tide, Vicks, Pepperidge Farm, P&G, and Disney.
Megan is regularly featured in national publications including the Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Christian Science Monitor, Huffington Post, Redbook, and MSNBC. That said, she knows you can draw more return with a single targeted update than mentions in all of those publications combined.
Writing from Gulfport, Mississippi, Megan infuses her writing with depth as rich as bayou mud and humor bold as blackened shrimp.
Your story matters. Your audience is waiting.
