Utah State University’s Department of Animal, Dairy and Veterinary Sciences (ADVS) is proud to provide equine related experiences focused on the dynamic of the equine and human bond. Horses have innate qualities which make them unique therapeutic partners and we utilize these characteristics to benefit individuals who face special challenges in life.

Our new program offers educational and service opportunities to USU students seeking to develop professionally in the field of Equine-Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT). This rapidly expanding field has been evolving over the last fifty years and is becoming widely recognized as a valid therapeutic approach.
