UT Entrepreneurs / The University of Tampa Entrepreneurship Center
UT Entrepreneurs aims to provide a professional environment in which any type of entrepreneurial notion can prosper. They hope to facilitate students in their mission of becoming entrepreneurs by providing various opportunities as well as a supportive atmosphere. At their weekly meetings they invite successful entrepreneurs to speak, and the current members act as consultants offering real solutions to real business obstacles. Members of this organization are also invited to pitch their business idea to the general assembly; they in turn will gain constructive criticism preparing their members for one of the many pitch competitions that UT Entrepreneurs is involved in. They remain active in the Tampa entrepreneurial community by working with Tampa Bay WaVE and other local business to host networking socials that everybody can enjoy. UT Entrepreneurs hosts the Regional Southeast Entrepreneurship Conference also known as SEEC that provides their members with valuable business contacts and a creative atmosphere to expand on their entrepreneurial notion. SEEC is the official regional conference accredited by the National Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization. For more information regarding SEEC visit their website.
