Twin Cities Data Visualization Group
Twin Cities (Minneapolis and St Paul and surrounding area in Minnesota)
Visualization group focuses on creating a community around visually telling stories (most often
with computer technology and data). The group arose out of the desire of a handful people that
wanted to discuss visualization across sectors, such as nonprofits, journalism, museums,
academia, arts, and the private sector. We welcome everyone; mostly likely you work with
visualization technologies, work closely with people that do, or are interested in getting started.
Here are our stats:
● We have 1,650 visualizers in the Twin Cities and growing
● Monthly event attendance is about 40 individuals
● We expect about 5075 attendees at the October hackathon
● Our mailing list has over 1,500 individuals
This group is led by Caroline Karanja - carolinekaranja.com.
