Owners Joe McBane and Casey Walpert realized the Tap & Table over a couple of pints at their "pub across the river."
After almost five years of success at their award-winning pub, the Tap & Mallet, Joe and Casey thought it was time for something new, different, yet comfortably familiar. The concept of a local, farm to table fresh menu, combined with a progressive draft beer and craft cocktail menu, seemed to fit a niche they felt would perfectly compliment the burgeoning Rochester scene.
What started as a simple question,"Do you want to open another restaurant?", quickly turned into what we now know as The Tap & Table.
The Tap & Table opened on July 3, 2012, and boasts one of the best views of the Rochester skyline. Executive Chef John Green and his team bring enthusiasm, skill, and love of the unexpected to the menu, which can be perfectly paired with one (or more) of the 30 rotating craft beers on draft.
Located in the newly developed Corn Hill Landing, The Tap & Table offers an expansive view of the city to perfectly compliment your lunch, dinner, or drinks with friends.
The Tap & Table is open seven days a week for dinner and Monday through Saturday for lunch. Reservations for parties of six or more are recommended, and the restaurant is a perfect location for that cocktail party or happy hour group.
