The Star Bar Players & Theatre 'd Art

Two local theater companies (one claiming the longest ongoing history in Colorado Springs, the other still relatively new on the scene) have been sharing the downtown theater space, THEATREdART, staggering each company's productions throughout the season...But now, The Star Bar Players and Theatre 'd Art have joined forces, pooled assets, and assembled an ensemble of some of their finest talents to present their first-ever co-production.Directed by actor Michael Lee (who has appeared in plays with both companies), the ensemble features such seasoned pros as Alysabeth Clements and Jason Lythgoe in the leading roles alongside other regional veterans, UCCS students, and local artists -- the best cast and crew that Star Bar and TdA have to offer.Members of each company discovered a mutual desire to produce the play when longtime TdA performer Michael Lee expressed his desire to direct it.  Now, thanks to the collaborative effort and the love of the craft, The Star Bar Players and Theatre 'd Art proudly present the psychological tale of liberation brought to life on stage.
