The Externally Focused Network has been created as a ministry of LifeBridge Christian Church in Longmont CO and will serve as a collection point for the best externally focused resources as well as the place to connect with likeminded, externally focused leaders.

The purpose of the Externally Focused Network is to connect and resource church leaders who are either leading externally focused churches or want to move external focus from a tactic to a strategy.  We want to connect passionate people with practical resources, tools and relationships that will help them engage their communities with good deeds and good news resulting in transformed communities and changed lives. 

The Externally Focused Network will help churches:

• to believe that serving is a normal expression of Christian living and is vital to spiritual formation
• to be convinced that good deeds and good news can’t and shouldn’t be separated
• to see themselves as vital to the health and well-being of their communities
• to be evangelistically effective

The strategy of Externally Focused Network is to provide resources, encouragement and to aid externally focused church leaders in theology and strategy for community involvement.  Strategies of externally focused churches include…

• following the mandates and desires of God
• identifying the needs and dreams of their communities
• launching ministries to meet those needs and dreams
• partnering with existing ministries or human service agencies to expand their capacity
